June 6, 2026 - I just noticed on the computer of Michael's passing and my prayers goes out to all of his relatives. I grew up in Zion Ev. Lutheran Church where I knew his mother, and him. He loved his mother so much, just as my brother George loved my mother, and Michael and George were great friends that kept in touch with each other over all the years, until my brother, George Hoffman passed on 2/13/2013, and Michael came to George's funeral, where I met him again after so many years. He was always so professional and kind. The both of them will be resting in heaven with the angels, since they were both angels on earth. I will always remember his mother working at Kaufman's, since I used to stop by to chat with her daily, when I was working downtown. Michael told me of conversations at his high school reunion, and at the end of the conversation, we bonded even more, after talking about events. I will miss him, along with his mother, who always had a smile on her face, and a special note to spark your day. I was so glad that my brother and Michael bonded together over all the years.

Michael and I were friends for over 50 years. Fond memories of him visiting my family in Ohio, car shopping together, painting his living room, and lots of laughs. You will be missed my dear friend.
