Madeja, Mildred (Plantz)

Age 91, on Thursday, February 6, 2014 of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved wife of the late John A. "Whitey" Madeja; loving mother of Jack (Beverly), Judith Heather (Daniel) Quinn, Jeffrey, Cynthia and Christine Madeja; proud grandmother of five, Jessica (John) Quinn-Horgan, Melissa, Vanessa and Cassandra Quinn and Brian Madeja; cherished great-grandmother of Rowan, Madeleine and Aleena; sister-in-law of Sophie Macurak and Irene Kuchta; preceded in death by all of her siblings, Dorothy, Barbara, Anna, Margaret, John and Steve. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Albert the Great Church at 11:00 a.m.
