Obituary For Milton E. "Chieffo" Mauro

Milton E. "Chieffo" Mauro, age 72, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, formerly of Mt. Lebanon.

Beloved husband of 26 years to Maureen (Donnelly); son of the late Ernest Mauro and Newana Suski; brother-in-law of Patricia (Robert) Bachner, Daniel (the late Lee) Donnelly and the late Kathleen (Robert) Bryden, James (survived by FaithAnn) Donnelly and Thomas Donnelly, Jr. Also survived by his many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Milt was an avid and talented pool player. In addition to playing pool, he loved Pirate baseball and a cold beer. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his blessing service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:30 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Gallagher Hospice, 1370 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
