Age 72, after a brief illness, surrounded by her family on Friday, April 19, 2024 of Whitehall, formerly of Brentwood. Loving wife of 53 years to James T. Madeja; beloved mother of Jamie (Robert) Welsh and James (Cathy) Madeja; proud grandmother of Chase Welsh and Nate and Hannah Weinmann; cherished sister of Russell (Judy) Calpass and Dawn (Patrick) Nudi; sister-in-law of George (Nancy) Madeja, Kate (Richard) Heil, Robert (Patricia) Madeja and Denise (Michael) Burkhart; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Nancy was a brave breast cancer survivor but was best known for her love of family and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 2-8 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations to williams-syndrome.org.
