Obituary For Nancy M. Zatezalo

July 26, 1952 - September 14, 2018

Zatezalo, Nancy M. (McGrogan) Age 66, peacefully surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 14, 2018, of Brentwood, formerly of Carnegie.

Beloved of Kenneth G. Zatezalo for over 44 years; loving mother of William (Keith) Zatezalo-Greene and GySgt Nathan Zatezalo, US Marine Corp; Mum Mum of Jaylynn Zatezalo-Greene; daughter of the late Daniel and Marcella McGrogan; sister of Kathie McGrogan, Gwen (Bill) Popovich, Dan (JoAnn Haller) McGrogan, Frank (Connie) McGrogan, Tom (Debby) McGrogan, Kevin (Pam) McGrogan, Jerry (Denise) McGrogan, Marcie (Gordy) McGrady, Rich (Sandy) McGrogan and Bob McGrogan. Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews; sister-in-law of Michael J. Zatezalo. Nancy was a member of Brentwood Auxiliary Post 1810 and MS Society Support Group. Nancy had a lifetime of struggles and health issues, but she dealt with them with grace and dignity. She was kind and loving both to family, friends, and anyone she seemed to befriend. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday morning at 11:30. If desired, family suggests contributions to Brentwood Auxiliary Post 1810, 3801 Saw Mill Run Blvd., Pgh., PA 15227 or Carnegie Historical Society, 1 Main Street, Carnegie, PA 15106.

    Kenny, I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy was a great person that always had a smile on her face. Always enjoyed the time I spent with her at the VFW. I stopped by the funeral home yesterday on my way home from work but no one was there. Sorry I missed you.
