March 11, 1983 - May 11, 2014

Yates, Nicholas David

Age 31, on Sunday, May 11, 2014, of Brentwood .

Beloved son of Ken Yates and Nancy Yates; brother of Brandon (Shari) and Garrett Yates; grandson of Mary Lou (the late Donald) Davis and Kathleen (Frank) O'Leary; also survived by his beloved aunt Carol Davis and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Nick was a fun loving, caring free spirit that will be missed by all. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Wendelin Church at 10:00 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to Western PA Humane Society, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
