Obituary For Nick A. DeFalle

January 28, 1925 - January 4, 2018

DeFalle, Nick A. Age 92, on Thursday, January 4, 2018, of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of 72 years to Muriel (Drudy); loving father of Robert (Marti) DeFalle and Shely (Mike) Zayac; devoted grandfather of Lynn (Carl) Weber; Andrew DeFalle, Matthew (Jaymie) Zayac and Leigh (Mark) Huckabee; great-grandfather of six. Nick was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in both the European and Pacific Theaters and a retired Operating Engineer out of Local #95. He was also a life member of VFW Post 6664 and the South Hills Honor Guard. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Winifred Church at 11:00 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to one's favorite charity in Nick's memory.

    To the DeFalle Family: I remember Nick fondly, having lived across the street from all of you for so many years. Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss.
