Obituary For Orest Horhut

June 24, 1951 - November 7, 2018

Horhut, Orest "O" Age 67, of Baldwin Borough, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Phyllis Horhut for over 40 years; loving father of Steven (Jaime) and Daniel (Marissa) Horhut; grandfather of Mitchell and soon-to-be granddaughter; son of the late Ivan and Tina Horhut; brother of Mary (Andy) Simko, Ben (Carol) Hart and Eugene (Connie) Horhut. Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. Orest retired from the Port Authority. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday and Monday, November 11 and 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostle Parish in St. Basil Church at 10:30 a.m.
