Age 83, formerly from Elizabeth Township, passed peacefully at her home in North Fayette while surrounded by family on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Born March 12, 1938 to the late Jacob and Margaret Cvetan; cherished sister of James Cvetan and the late Mary DeFrances. She was the devoted partner of 16 years to the late Peter Zecca; beloved mother of Danielle (David) Craska, Robert Skiles, and the late Trisha Costa; and loving grandmother of Sean, Evan, Nicolas, and Alexander. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Pat was an avid reader, loved the adventure of travel, and enjoyed caring for her dogs. Her favorite passion though, was attending the big band dances around the Pittsburgh area. She was a retired secretary for the Township of Elizabeth, but her most important role was being a mom, grandmother, and loving companion. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. where a blessing service will be held at 5:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date. Mask and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Humane Animal Rescue, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15233 or Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh PA 15237.
