Our very sincere and deepest condolences to you all. Lee has made it clear that Miss Sherwood was a strong presence in all of your lives growing up, and she continued to be throughout adulthood. She was a special lady - a true matriarch of a fabulous family that we are blessed to know and have in our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Our mothers were beautiful influences in our lives, and we both have shared some very special memories growing up for sure. Thank you so much John for your kind words, but especially for a lifelong friendship.

My deepest condolences to all. Miss Sherwood was a wonderful and amazing lady. As a teenager I will never forget how welcoming she was every time I visited her home. Her beautiful smile, kind words and sweet laugh always made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Her influence is seen in all her amazing children and their extended families. I know she was so proud of you all. God bless you during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Most sincerely, John Sternagel
