Obituary For Paul J. Krivijanski

Of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 81, on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Beloved husband of 51 years to Carol (Hickey) Krivijanski; loving father of Doreen (Harry) Datz and P.J. (Brooke) Krivijanski; devoted grandfather of Alexandra Datz, Harry Datz IV, Mack Krivijanski and Crue Krivijanski; cherished son of the late Joseph J. and Ann F. (Pribicin) Krivijanski; brother of the late Joseph J. (survived by Ricki) Krivijanski. Also survived by nephew, Rocky (Erin), great-nephew, Ben and many cousins.

Paul was a simple man, flannel shirts and blue jeans were his comfort zone. He was content to sit in his chair and watch a good old cowboy movie or being outside in the yard finding weeds to pull and cutting grass.

It did not take a lot to make him happy. His daughter and son gave him great joy over the years and he delighted in his grandchildren.

He was a man of few words but very good at listening.

In his younger days, he enjoyed going out in the woods with his father for deer hunting season. He secretly told me that many times he would just sit on a log and enjoy God's nature around him. I imagine he missed many opportunities to hit his target.

He was a good man, a kind man. Always willing to help out a fellow neighbor and friend.

He was my best friend, my life partner and he will be deeply missed. A piece of my heart went with him. I love you Paul.

A private family visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. My deepest sympathy to Carol, Doreen, PJ and their families. Paul was kind, with a great smile. He was happy to be together with us during the holidays or visits. He was a wiz at math and helped us with wiring and building projects in his younger days He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. He would say: "hi Brother." I think brother Joe greeted him in Heaven. Rest in Peace, Paul. Ricki
