Obituary For Paul K. "Sonny" Snyder

November 13, 1935 - January 24, 2019

Snyder, Paul K. "Sonny", age 83, unexpectedly on Thursday, January 24, 2019 of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of 32 years to the late Bonnie J. (Kehrer) Snyder; loving father of Michael (Diane) Snyder, Coleen (Kevin) Conboy, Timothy (Kelli) Snyder and Julie Ann (Ken) Chapel; proud pap-pap of Nathan (Amanda), Jenna, Ryan (Bri), Leah, Evan, Casey, Courtney and Carson; great-grandpap-pap of Rogan; brother of Howard Snyder and the late Clara Siefert, Francis William Snyder, Dorothy Lieb and Lawrence Snyder. Also loved by many nieces, nephews and their families. Sonny served in the U.S. Army post Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He was a proud member of IBEW Local #5. Sonny was a generous man, an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, loved vacations and everything with his family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m.
