Obituary For Philomena Mastrovincenzo
Age 94, formerly of Whitehall, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, March 8, 2024. She was born September 21, 1929 in Sant'Angelo del Pesco, Italy and emigrated to the United States, settling in Rankin, PA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Frank Mastrovincenzo and four brothers, Marion, Carmine, Ralph and Rev. Monsignor Anthony Borrelli. Philomena is survived by her devoted daughters, Anna Marie Gigliotti (Ross) of Monroeville and Rita Reinoso (Larry) of Florida. She will be missed by her loving grandchildren, Cara (Kevin) Ditzler, Ross B. (Melissa) Gigliotti, Nick (Stephanie) Gigliotti, Mark Gigliotti and Rick (Alexis) Reinoso and adoring great-grandchildren, Penelope, Norah, Nico, Elliot, Vincent and special friends Jasmine and Reaghan. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel Church for over 60 years and longtime member of the Legion of Mary. Philomena never met a stranger. Her table was always open to anyone for the sumptuous Italian meals she'd prepare on a moment's notice. She was a living example of her Catholic faith, embracing all with love and ready to serve others in any capacity.
