November 13, 1937 - July 31, 2015

Schofield, Phyllis A. (Fichter) Age 77, peacefully surrounded by her family, on Friday, July 31, 2015, of Espyville, PA, formerly of Brookline.

Beloved wife of over 30 years to James D. Schofield; loving mother of Theresa (Mark) Greenaway, Carole (Glenn) Gross, John (Pam) Fichter, Judy (Lloyd) Bromley, Jackie (Wylie) Greene, Robert Fichter, James Fichter, Lori Arelt, Lisa Fichter, Tracy Lorusso, Kelly Ann (Dave) Yauch and Sean (Stepanie) Schofield; adoring grandmother of 20 and proud great-grandmother of nine; daughter of the late Carmela Helen and Adam Regis Toskey; sister of William (Janet) Toskey; also survived by two nephews and their families. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday from 6-8 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to C.O.P.D. Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables, FL 33134 or Southern Care Hospice, 201 S. Johnson Rd., #101, Houston, PA 15342.
