Obituary For Phyllis Mary Javorski

December 26, 1926 - July 8, 2017

Javorski, Phyllis M. (Gayda) Age 90-1/2, on Saturday, July 8, 2017, of Pointview Rd. in Brentwood.

Beloved wife of the late Walter "Jay" Javorski; loving mother of Ken, Michael (Dot), Tim (Stephanie), Judy, Nancy (Jim) Gilbert, Polly (Sheri) and David (Amy) Javorski; proud Grams of Christine (Tommy) and Nate; loving GG of Aubrey; sister-in-law of Vicky Schmitt. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Phyllis' family would like to especially thank Justin and Brandon at Mercy Hospital ICU as well as Dr. Rich Zimmerman for their loving and compassionate care. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10.

    Sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I remember her fondly growing up and enjoyed seeing her occasionally when I visited my mom and dad. My grown daughters remember your mom giving them coloring books, as little kids, when she saw them on their visits. Point View Rd is not the same. Not many of the Grand ladies are left.
