Obituary For Rachel Lynn Zotter

Zotter, Rachel Lynn Age 31, on Monday, November 8, 2021, of Baldwin.

Rachel was born December 31, 1989, the beloved daughter of Jill and Paul Zotter, sister to Ian (Heather) Zotter and Kate (Lee) Patton, and aunt to Sadie, Leena, and Sebastian. A compassionate child of the universe, who loved running on a soccer field. Rachel attended Baldwin High School where she was a talented soccer and lacrosse player. She loved music, road trips, skateboarding, and her cat, Domino. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Family and friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227, on Friday, November 12th, 4:00-8:00 p.m. A private family service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

    I am so glad to have had the pleasure of meeting Rachel. She was such a beautiful, smart, fun, deep person with a heart of pure gold. We had many talks so I really got to know her in a short time. I am beyond sad. Every time I see a sunset or sunrise on the water I will think of her. Every time I hear her favorite band on the radio or see a cactus tattoo i will think of her for the rest of my life. We didn't get to be friends for very long but she definitely found a spot in my heart. I will miss you so much Rachel. Your smile was the prettiest ever! I loved the way you lit up when you talked about or showed me pictures & videos of Sebastian!!! God bless you sweet, sweet friend. My condolences to the family and friends of a beautiful, one of a kind soul... love you always Rachel.
