Wolwowicz, Raymond E., born August 10, 1926, age 89, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Monday, February 15, 2016 of Whitehall. Son of the late John and Genevieve Wolwowicz; brother of the late Bernard and sister Leona; beloved husband of the late Agnes for 61 years; loving father of Jenny (Frank) DiFiore, Raymond (Lisa), Donna Martorella (Guy), Mark (Lisa), Eric and the late Deborah; grandfather of Jennifer DiFiore (Steve) Shulin, Tony DiFiore, Michael, Dominic, and Jason Martorella, Sara (Frank) Cremonese, John, Chris, and Becca Wolowicz, and the late Johnny DiFiore; great-grandfather of Hayden, Sienna, and Christian Ray; uncle of Gladys and many other nieces and nephews. Raymond proudly served our nation in the U.S. Army. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. Proud of his Polish heritage, he enjoyed playing the violin, dancing polkas, playing cards, and working outdoors. Raymond will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15.
