Age 86, on Monday, June 1, 2020, of Whitehall. Beloved husband of Eleanor M. (Auer) Englert; son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Englert, Sr.; loving father of Ellen F. Englert, Allen (Liz) Englert and Paul (Andrea) Englert; dear grandfather of Bradley, Amanda and Abigail Englert. Due to the current health crisis, visitation and services were held privately. Arrangements made by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to your favorite charity. June 05, 2020 Deepest sympathy to Ray's family. Sorry it is not possible to pay final respects. I have many fond memories working with Ray at Phipps Conservatory. He was a very special kind person. He always spoke proudly of his grandchildren and looked forward to spending time together. He was also very loving of his dear wife and cherished her dearly.
