April 25, 1929 - April 23, 2016 Dadig, Raymond M. Age 87, on Saturday, April 23, 2016, surrounded by his family, of Whitehall . Beloved Husband of 58 yrs. to Irene Dadig; loving father of Wayne (Michaelene), Gregg (Christine) and Steven (Christine); proud grandfather of Brett, Dani, Lexi, Brad, Matty, Justin, Taylor and Josh; brother of Leona Mandrier and the late Edward, Norman and Elizabeth Stubinger. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Raymond served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Korean War and worked for P.A.W.C. as Distribution Engineer. He was one of the founding fathers of Whitehall Volunteer Fire Co., St. Gabriel Men's Club Treasurer, usher and bingo worker for 25 yrs and volunteered at Carnegie Science Center for 10 yrs. Special thanks to Primetime Daycare and Manor Care for all their kindness to Ray. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 7-9 pm & Tuesday from 3-9 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10 am.
