Passed away peacefully at his home in Langhorne, PA on the March 23, 2023 at the age of 88.

Ray was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Raymond Michael and Marcella Cecelia Trageser. He graduated from St. George High School in 1952. He studied at Duquesne University and then joined the US Army in 1955, where he was stationed in Germany as a Quartermaster. After honorable discharge in 1957, Ray became an insurance underwriter at Continental Insurance. He spent his entire career in the insurance industry, becoming Vice President and Regional Manager at TransAmerica Insurance in Philadelphia, PA. Ray retired from TransAmerica in 1992.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Anne and his daughter Debra. Ray is survived by his brother Paul, sister-in-law Barbara, son-in-law, Steve Eisen, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in St. John Vianney Cemetery.
