Obituary For Raymond Roy Miskiewicz

March 18, 1935 - April 20, 2016

Miskiewicz, Raymond R., "Raz" Age 81, on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, of Baldwin Borough formerly of the South Side.

Loving husband of 58 years to Patricia Ann (Bisiada) Miskiewicz; cherished father of Rene' Jean (Dan) Kelly and Ron (Carol) Miskiewicz; devoted grandfather of Jennifer, Ashley, Shannon and Amanda; brother of Ernie Miskiewicz and the late Regina, Norman, Daniel and Tommy; Also survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Ray was a retired Port Authority bus driver, enjoyed officiating at sporting events, and was a member of St. Elizabeth Seniors. In retirement, he enjoyed being an usher at PNC Park and Heinz Field. Ray lived life to the fullest. There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016, in St. Wendelin Church at 10:30 a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. If desired, family suggests contributions in Ray's memory in honor of his granddaughter Shannon Miskiewicz to Stockton University, Unified Sports Program, Office of Athletics, 101 Vera King Farris Dr., Galloway, NJ 08205 (Attention: Brooke Rollman).
