Peggy Hill, Kenny Breese, and Kendra Roberts, loving California cousins of Becky Holt Contestabile, are carrying sorrow in our hearts due to the loss of our dear cousin, Becky. She lived with our family for two wonderful years (1964 - 1966) while Becky, Kendra, and Peggy attended Santa Monica Community College in Santa Monica, California together (along with Arnold Schwarzenegger! Ha!) We carry a myriad of happy memories of those fun-filled days attending school with Becky. She definitely made our early college experience highly entertaining and lots of fun as well, and we all actually managed to learn quite a bit and even graduate!!! We also have lovely memories of spending summers with Becky and her dear family in Pennsylvania during the summer vacations. Those were definitely the good ole days!! Our prayers are with Becky's sisters and brother (and our dear cousins)....Molly, Amy, Matthew, Holly and Polly, as well as Becky's children, Michael and Kara. Rest in peace, dear Becky.

Becky was a friend, a professional support, and just an all round wonderful person. She was immensely helpful to me as I worked on my degree and served as a grad assistant. She is part of the reason I finished successfully! Then she became a friend -sharing her antiques, coming to my house with my other PSU friends to celebrate Christmas, giving me a place to stay when I returned to State College to visit. Returning there now will not be the same. To all of her family members - she was so proud of all of you. She always had a story or memory to share about you that was really about how much she loved you all.

As a fellow Freedom High School classmate, Becky and I shared many years of friendship. She had a bubbly personality and contagious smile. As adults our paths only crossed at reunions. Sending prayers to her children during this difficult time. I know Tony was there at the gates to greet her...

Though we've not seen each other for many years, I have many memories of times spent together growing up. Like family picnics, watching Grandpap's home movies, picking fruit in Grandma's garden. My thoughts are with your family, cousins I know and members I've not met. Sincerest Sympathies

With great sadness we say goodbye to a very special lady. Becky was a friend before she was an amazing sister-in-law and aunt to my children. She was my hero when she dated my brother. We will all miss her so much. But, I smile knowing she is happy and at peace with Tony. Our sympathy and love to Mike, Kara, Nikolas and the Holt and Contestabile Families.

Becky and Kara, I met your Mom as a graduate student at Penn State. She always provided me with the best help/tips, positive support, and news of happy happenings. I fondly recall her pride in sharing what you were both up too. She loved you both very much. I feel so very fortunate to have been positively impacted by your Momâ??s warm and kind heart. My deepest sympathies, Catherine

Mike and Kara, Your mom was a most amazing Aunt. She loved us all and we loved her. I will forever carry with me my fond memories of her yearly Christmas cards and ornaments and all the support she gave me while at Penn State. It was so comforting to have her there as my family away from home. I will miss her. I hope the comfort of knowing she will always be in our hearts will help you through this difficult time. I will see you soon. Your cousin, Lana
