Of Brentwood, went to be with our Lord peacefully, on Sunday, January 17, 2021.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Silk, Jr. and her sister Helen Lazic; she is survived by her brother Jack Krzeminski; her four children, Robert (Diane) Silk of Lakewood, CA, Mary Ellen Silk, Karen (Ron) Thorhauer and David (Sharon) Silk; beloved Grandma of Sativa (George) Salazar, Mark Thorhauer, Ryan and Taylor Silk; Great-Grandma of Adrianna and Eli. Jean was an active member of her church and enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. Due to the public health crisis, visitation will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment will be held privately. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Presbyterian Senior Care, Benevolent Fund, 850 S. Main Street, Washington, PA 15301.
