Age 56, on September 26, 2025, of Baldwin, passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Cherished wife of David Meyer; beloved mother of Ryan, Jeffrey, and Katelyn; daughter of the late Raymond and Rose Luffy; daughter-in-law of Harry and Sandy Meyer; sister of the late Raymond (survived by Cheryl) Luffy, survived by Rhonda (Gregory) Graham and Ronald (Deborah) Luffy; aunt of Christopher, Raymond "Trey" III, Nicole, Krista, Sean, Kailee (Johnathan), Alessandra, and Abram; great-aunt of August Ann, Merryn, and Opal.
Renee lived a fulfilled and beautiful life enriched by work, friends, and family. She dedicated nearly 40 years to Buchanon, Ingerson & Rooney, where she cherished her job and the many colleagues who became like family. Renee found great joy in traveling. She loved trips to Myrtle Beach, Bedford Springs Resort, and New York City, and especially treasured cruises—Bermuda being her favorite destination. In recent years, she delighted in family vacations to Walt Disney World, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and joy. Spending time with family and friends was the true center of her life. Her home was often the heart of gatherings, from parties to holiday celebrations. Renee worked tirelessly to make each occasion special, taking pride in her seasonally decorated home. She especially loved the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Always ready to entertain, she could prepare for a party at a moment’s notice—often with a quick trip to Giant Eagle. Cooking and hosting were among her greatest passions, and her love could always be tasted in her food. Renee was also extraordinarily generous, giving to many charities. She was particularly dedicated to programs that ensured children had gifts at Christmas, going above and beyond to bring joy to those who might have otherwise gone without. She also served as a Big Sister to Jalyn, mentoring her through middle and high school with kindness and encouragement. During her illness, Renee deeply appreciated the many cards, gifts, and flowers sent by family and friends. She was especially grateful to her mother- and father-in-law, who lovingly helped her get to her many weekly doctor appointments. Renee’s kindness, warmth, and unforgettable smile touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and forever loved until we are reunited with her in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was friends with Renee's kids and nieces. Renee was always bright and happy to see any of her children's friends. It's been years since I saw her or her family, but will I never forget how loved and welcomed she made me feel, and how many people she shared her gifts with through supporting theatre, marching band, dance, and beyond. She was an absolute light in the world. All my love to the Meyers and Grahams. - Audrey Crompton

I first met Renee when I was chosen to be the coach of a girls 7-11 softball team. I will never forget our first practice when she told me she wanted to be the catcher. The name of our team was the Angels and now Renee is with the real Angels so RIP Renee as you will always be an Angel 😇

Renee was a bright, positive and kind soul. I too worked with Renee at Buchanan for many years. We shared so many stories about our families I felt like I knew the boys and Kate personally. She was always eager to catch each time we saw each other. Even in the face of cancer, she was a beacon of positivity. When I think of Renee, I will always picture her with a big smile and hear the sound of her wonderful laugh!
