Obituary For Reverend David R. Johnson

Age 66, after a brief struggle with Covid-19 on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, formerly of Mt. Oliver. Son of the late William and Dolores Johnson. Brother of William A. (Cynthia) Johnson. Uncle of Ryan Johnson and Tara (Greg) Guerand. David graduated from St. Joseph’s Mt. Oliver, Duquesne University. He was a retired priest with the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements handled by the John F. Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.

    I only became aware of this recently...he was my close childhood friend...we lived only a few houses apart on the same street...I'm so sad. We have old videos of us together. I had tried to find him many times, but to no avail. I hadn't seen him since the day he was ordained a priest. I wish I would have gotten to see him again. Carolyn Lampenfield
