Age 86, on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 of Baldwin, formerly of Carrick.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Mary Ann (Jumba); father of Mary Susan Bolton and Christine (Ed) Bucha; grandfather of Blaise and Emily Bucha; son of the late Peter and Susanna Bolton. Also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Richard was a chef, a Eucharistic Minister at St. Basil Roman Catholic Church and St. Germaine Church and also served on the St. Basil Parish Council. He was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved his garden and was a gentle and kind-hearted soul that always loved helping people. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
