Obituary For Richard A. Collavo

May 7, 1935 - September 10, 2018

Collavo, Richard A. "Dick" Age 83, on Monday, September 10, 2018, of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Dorothy "Penny" (Change); loving father of Jacqueline and Richard (Lisa); proud grandfather of Richie and Stephen; brother of Daniel (Jennifer); uncle of Danielle. Dick was retired from LTV Steel, formerly J&L, after a lengthy career. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a proud Gold Legion of Honor Member of the Polish Falcons of America. He also belonged to Nix Vogel American Legion 935 and was a life member of VFW Post 1810 in Brentwood. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Thursday from 2-8 p.m.. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10.
