Obituary For Richard A. Kraemer, Sr.

January 29, 1921 - September 1, 2014

Kraemer, Richard A., Sr. Age 93, at home, peacefully surrounded by his family, on Monday, September 1, 2014, of Carrick.

Beloved husband of the late Dolores C. (Singer) Kraemer; loving father of Richard (Dorothy), Jr., Amy (Michael) Kohler, Michael (Mary), John (Debbie), Margie (Gary) Cerrone, Christopher (Patty) and Eric (Lori); grandfather of 20; great-grandfather of nine; brother of Betty Kraemer and the late George Kraemer and Maryanne "Mame" Wojszynski; brother-in-law of Rita Mae (Sam) Abbott and the late Frederick (Rita) Singer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard served in U.S. Army during WWII, was a member of Asbestos Workers Local #2, and a long-time member of St. Wendelin Parish. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Wendelin Church at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Forbes Hospice, 4800 Friendship Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
