My brother told me of the passing of your Dad. So very sorry to hear that. I enjoyed conversations with him at first Saturday masses at St. Gabe's when I lived in Whitehall.. Our families had connections through kids and parents. Deepest sympathy to all of you.

A true gentleman, and great neighbor. So nice to run into Dick on a daily walk, and to be able to chat with him while we walked. During Covid was happy to share homemade soup with him. He loved split pea. He's been gone from the neighborhood for a few years, but was still nice to join him for lunch. He will be sorely missed. A life well lived.

Good friends are a treasure I was invited by Dick many years ago to join him and others for coffee/ breakfast at Gianna Via's. This event happen after 8 am mass at st gabs, these senior gentleman and golfer would sit for hours talking enjoying each others company. They accepted me as their friend even though there were many years between us. Dick is the last of these gentlemen. I had the privilege of taking The Eucharist to Dick for many years, his love of receiving the Eucharist was contagious. Thank you Dick for your friendship through the years and your time spent on the golf course with your friends. Rest in peace my friend
