Age 64, on Thursday, July 30, 2020 of Baldwin Boro and Pleasant Hills.

Son of the late Robert John and Alice (Stinely) Zabielski; husband of 39 years to Ruth (Jensen); father of five children, Ellen Zabielski (Jordan Stull), David Zabielski (Danielle Hoffman), Sarah Dugan (Jonathan) and the late Niccole Zabielski and Mark Zabielski; Grandad to Ryan, Tristan, Madelynn, Patrick, Eliana, Erynn, Emily, Beatrix and the late Brody; brother of Mary Zabielski, Ellen Gozik, Robert Zabielski, Thomas Zabielski and Regis Zabielski. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Richard attended St. Elizabeth Grade School and graduated from Baldwin-Whitehall High School. He worked in metal manufacturing, most recently as an estimator/engineer. Nothing brought him more joy than riding his motorcycle, being with his family and watching his grandchildren grow. Immediate family and close friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held privately on Monday.
