Mueller, Rita (Gerhard), age 89, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, of Baldwin. Beloved wife of the late Eberhard; loving mother of Marina (Raymond) Ruggiero; Oma of Alex and Renee Ruggiero; Great-Oma of Julian, Malena, Brayden, Braeson and Auden; daughter of the late Anton and Aloysia Gerhard; sister of Helga and the late Lony (survived by George) and Martin (survived by Ursela). Rita was a 67 year member of the Teutonia Mannerchor Choir. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held at 7:00 in the Funeral Home chapel. If desired, the family suggests contributions to the Teutonia Mannerchor Singers Choir, 857 Phineas St., Pittsburgh, PA 15212. March 23, 2024 Sorry to hear of your loss. We have such fond memories of our Teutonia concert trips to Europe with your Mom and Dad. They made it special. I am so sorry that I am not able to be with the Chor to sing at the funeral home.
