Obituary For Rita Marie Milroth

Age 82, on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, of Mt. Lebanon.

Beloved wife of John Philip Milroth; loving mother of John Regis Milroth; daughter of the late Patrick and Dorothy (Griffin) O'Connell; sister of Raymond (Rosemary MacIntosh) O'Connell, Richard (Rhonda Fornauf) O'Connell, Roseanne (Harry) Price, Roberta (David) Dinneen, Ronald (Kathlene Davis) O'Connell, Regina (Gary) Garda, Russell O'Connell, Ralph O'Connell and the late Ruth (O'Connell) Benjamin, Robert O'Connell, and Regis (Linda Michaels) O'Connell. Rita loved family and made everyone feel special. Visitation and services will be held privately. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Baptist Homes of Western PA, 489 Castle Shannon Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15234.

    Aunt Rita was everyone's favorite. She has touched the hearts of so many people. Always smiling which was so contagious you couldn't help but have a good time with her. She has been and always will be a big inspiration to many. She will always be in my heart. Thank you Aunt Rita for all your love, support & smiles along the way. I know you are watching over us all.     Susan Brotherly

    Loving and caring are two of the many words that can describe Rita. She was a strong supporter during my illness with beautiful cards always spurring m forward to recovery. Several times during that low time she surprised me with flowers to give me a lift. Her strong confidence in me always brought a smile to my face. She was a wonderful friend. Susan Brotherly
