To Gram, Jan, Kirstin, Lauren, Mr. Ed, Uncle Dave, Aunt Sherri, Uncle Rick, and Uncle Bob: I am so very sad to hear about Pap's passing. His kindness is something that I'll never forget, and I feel so lucky to have known him for most of my life. Some of my most cherished childhood memories involve spending the day at his house, digging up old coins and other assorted objects in the backyard and bringing them to Pap for inspection. Now that I'm older I can better appreciate his and Gram's generosity in letting me spend so much time at their place, playing games all day and oftentimes refusing to leave. I don't how I got so lucky to have a third grandfather in Pap, and for that matter a second family in all of you. I'm so sorry that my family and I will be out of town this week and can't tell you all this in person, but know that we are thinking of all of you and remembering Pap with great love and fondness. Love, Nikki
