Age 88, of Brentwood, peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, with family by his side. Beloved husband to the late Mary Ann (Hale) Zovko; loving father of Greg (Karen) Zovko, Bob (Leslie) Zovko, Matt (Cheryl) Zovko and Kristen (the late Wayne) Zeigler; proud Pap of Brendan (Suzymae) Booth, Brian, Matthew (Dayna), Alexis (Kye) and Zachary (Erica) Zovko, Mindy (Steve) Toboz, Courtney and the late Matt Zeigler; great-grandfather of Aiden, Colt, Noah, Gage and Serenity. He is survived by his siblings Marge Eiben, John (Dorothy) Zovko and Joseph Zovko. He was predeceased by his parents, Karlo and Antonia Zovko and siblings Mary Fuchs and Carl Zovko. A native of Mount Oliver, Bob attended St. Joseph High School. Along with his brother John, he proudly owned and operated Zovko Brothers Garage on the South Side for nearly 60 years. In his free time, Bob enjoyed his weekly rounds of golf, but above all, he cherished the time spent with his family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:45.
