Obituary For Robert E. "Bob" Eynon

Age 66, of Baldwin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Beloved husband of 37 years to Ami J. Eynon; loving father of Marissa (Aaron Turlik) Eynon; devoted dog dad of Mocha and Java; son of the late David Eynon. Bob worked at the Canongate-Maiden Bridge Apartment complex for over 25 years as their Maintenance Manager. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 18th, in the John F. Slater Funeral Home Chapel, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

    Dear Ami and Marissa, I was heartbroken to hear of the sudden passing of Bob. He was a dear friend who loved his family above all else. Through the years we shared many stories and events in our lives. He loved his pets and Pittsburgh Sports (especially the Penguins and Penn State). Even though it has been almost 10 years since we worked together, we would often share texts celebrating family and holidays. He made the world a better place for many of us and he will be dearly missed. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Kristin Salamony and Family
