Age 83, of South Park, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Patricia M. (Hoffman) Leonard and former husband of Patricia (O'Neill) Ferrese; loving father of Robert E. (Nicole) Jr., Lynn (Rob) Dinsmore, Beth A. (the late Jim) Sheller, Amy (Scott) Dintiman and Patrick Leonard; cherished pap of Alyssa, Brenna, Bobby, Jacqueline, Rebecca, Jillian, Brittany, Jake, Tyler, Brendan, Sara, and the late Jimmy and Christina; great-grandpap of Lexi, Charli and Jaxon; son of the late Gertrude and Frederick Leonard; brother of James (Chris) Leonard, William (Eileen) Leonard and the late Frederick (survived by Jane) Leonard. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Robert served in the U.S. Army, he was a retired piping draftsman. Bob was a great story teller who enjoyed golf, spending time with family, was a Penn State and Packers fan and was the last one to leave the party. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m.
