BEECH, ROBERT, H., age 81 of Bethel Park lost his battle with Leukemia on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 59 years of Jacqueline J. (Ochs); Preceded in death by his parents Robert Francis Beech, Mary Louda; loving father of Kelly (David) Rager, Shelly Beech Harpley, and Holly Beech; Proud “Pap” to Zachary, Brady, Ally, David, the late Angela, and the late Robert; great-“Pap” to Daniel, Wilfrido, Ryder, Melody, Lillyana, and the late Ellyoise; Brother of Gary Beech, Dennis (Debra) Beech, and the late Suzanne (survived by Bob) Chute. With degrees in Construction Management and Drafting from University of Pittsburgh and Triangle Tech, Robert spent his career working for companies such as Mellon Bank as an officer approving loans for building and development and managed many construction projects for companies such as Toys R Us, and Crossgates along with many more throughout the United States. As a young man Robert was an avid basketball player; he enjoyed hunting and especially fishing; a love he passed on to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was wicked smart, and loved to read, especially Westerns and American History, play trivia games, and cards with his family and friends. Robert Loved God, his family and friends, Florida, and John Wayne. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., followed by a Mass of Catholic Burial (St. Catherine Labouré Parish), at St. Joan of Arc Church, 6470 Library Road, South Park, PA 15129 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2900 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. Friends and Family are invited to attend the wake at Library Fire Hall, 6581 Library Road, South Park, PA 15129 on October 5, 2024 at 12:30p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society, 106 Merchant Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
