Age 91, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, formerly of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of 64 years to Bernadette (Cleary); father of Kathleen (Raymond) Hess, Mary Lynn (Chuck) Haynes and Christopher (Betty Ann Casper) Aubele; proud pap of Scott and Kristin Hess, Charlie (Rachel), Robert (Kelsey) and Holly Haynes and Christopher and Michael Aubele; great-grandpap of Charlotte Haynes; son of the late Edward and Florence Aubele; brother of the late Patricia, Edward "Bud", William "Bill", Ronald "Ron" and Ken. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob was proud to have served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for more than 30 years.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memorials Processing, Memphis, TN 38105 or Passionist Nuns, 2715 Churchview Avenue, #1, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
