Obituary For Robert J. Heller

September 20, 1932 - May 21, 2015

Heller, Robert J. Age 82, of Baldwin Twp., surrounded by family on Thursday, May 21, 2015.

Loving husband of 55 years to Marlene A. (Ugen); beloved father of Jill A. (Daniel) Puhl and Robert J., Jr. (Janet); proud grandfather of Ryan, Eric, Alex and Evan Puhl; son of the late Joseph and Anna Heller; brother of Leonard and Lorraine. Bob enjoyed taking trips with his wife Marlene. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, fishing and boating. Bob was well known for his love of flying radio controlled airplanes. He passed this passion to his grandsons. He was a member of the greater Pittsburgh ARCS (Aero Radio Control Society.) Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Tuesday from 2-8:30 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Winifred Church at 10:00 a.m.

    Bob enjoyed going to the gym for silver sneakers. He rode the bike lifted light weights and then walked around and talked to everyone! His pleasantness will be missed by everyone!
