Obituary For Robert J. Jena, Jr.

October 17, 1955 - July 19, 2018Jena, Robert J., Jr. Age 62, on Thursday, July 19, 2018, of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved husband of Donna Jena; loving father of Joe (Jessica) Jena and Dan (Jenna Noble) Jena; grandfather of Evelynn Clare Jena; son of the late Clare Devine Jena and Robert Jena; brother of Nancy Bichler and the late Diane and Elaine; also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Saturday, July 21, 2018, 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, July 22, 2018, 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 10:00.

    Bob was such a super nice guy. Loved working with him. He learned that he worked with my cousin (who moved to Eastern PA) for many years in Pittsburgh before working with me in Eastern PA & always told me if she or I needed anything taken care of back in Pittsburgh to let him know. He was just that type of guy & will truly be missed. Thoughts & prayers for the Jena family

    We are so sad to hear of Uncle Bob's passing and we will really miss him. We have many fond memories of him from our visits to Pittsburgh. Our prayers are with Aunt Donna, Joe, and Dan in this difficult time.

    You opened your home to my son to live there while interning in Pittsburgh and I enjoyed the time at the rink watching Joe and Jim play hockey. You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

    I am so sorry for your loss . Bob was an amazing friend to my brother Doug and his wife Stephanie. His friendship and devotion to them I will never forget. I first met him shortly after his transplant and will always remember his kindness and willing to help anyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you .

    Iâ??m so sorry to hear about your loss! Itâ??s been years since Iâ??ve seen him... he was my first boyfriend (when I was a baby). What a gift and treasure he was to me and my family. We were neighbors in the 70â??s on Newport in Baldwin. (I was born in â??75). Bobby was a sweet and dear man! Iâ??ve never heard a negative word about him. Iâ??ll pray for all of you during this trying time. Thankfully we have the promise of heaven and after life through Christ. You will be reunited. God bless you all and peace be with you.     May your hearts find comfort and peace being with each other during this difficult time. May time allow all the good memories to replace the deepest pain you are feeling now. May I say I am honored to have worked with such an amazing person. To Bob your job or title meant very little he treated everyone as if they were important. He had the kindest heart and always took time to see how everyone was doing. Having that personal touch is not something you see often. Rest in peace Bob you have worked hard and graced so many with your existence.
