Obituary For Robert J. Twining, Jr.

Age 67, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022,of Plum.

Beloved and devoted husband of Diana; son of the late Robert J. and June L. of Whitehall; brother of Linda.

Bob took immense pride in his career, those close to him knew he always was working on a project in the back of his mind. He usually had one of his hundreds of favorite books within an arm's reach, but still made sure plenty of time was leftover to analyze statistics for fantasy baseball, where he had made many lifelong friends playing with the same group for well over 30 years.

A memorial service will be planned at a future date. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. In lieu of flowers, Bob would have appreciated a donation to a local library.

Bob was the first co-worker when I joined HM. His passion for data and analytics set a high bar for me. He always stepped up and checked if anything he could help. I learned a lot from Bob. Hard to believe that he has left with his jokes and smiles. Please accept my deepest sympathies! Rest in peace. - Xiaolei Wang

Peace and comfort to all of Bob's family and those who knew and loved him. He was one of a kind. There was nothing better than talking the "summer game" with Bob. I will always appreciate his dry and quick wit and the subtle laughter that inevitably found its way into the conversation. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed - David Boyd

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family and friends. I worked with Bob, and although I was in the Parkersburg, WV office he was always the go-to person for any questions. It was always a joy to talk to him.

I was so saddened to learn of Bob's passing today. Bob was a wonderful co-worker and friend. He always made me smile and he amazed with his knowledge of words and his knowledge of history. He was always willing to help me with an Excel project and he was a good compassionate man. He had an anecdote to make everyone smile. Bob, it its looking Autumnal outside (one of your favorite words) I pray that you rest in peace. God bless your soul. We will miss you - Debby Welch

My heart felt sympathy to all of Bob's family and loved ones. Bob will be greatly missed. He was a founding member of our fantasy baseball league in 1986 and when we first met. Our league events will not be the same without him. Rest in Peace Bob. Sincerely, Paul Conlon
