Age 93, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Friday, July 23, 2021, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware. Beloved husband of 65 years, to the late Mary J. (Murphy) Walther; loving father of Robin (Marianne) Walther, Dan Walther, Mona (Pat) Burns, Joanne Walther and Barb (John) Carson; adored Pap of Rose Walther and Rob (Bri) Walther; proud Pop Pop of Gracie, Sabrina, James and Quinn. Also survived by a sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Bob was a former employee of Babcock and Wilcox for 45 years. He was an avid golfer, a Pittsburgh sports fan, and a long-time member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish. Friends and family will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 15227 on Monday July 26th 2021, from 8:45-9:15. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Triumph of the Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth Church at 10:00A.M.
