Obituary For Robert M. Dollish

Age 87, on November 10, 2025, of Baldwin.

Cherished husband of Carol (Hungerman) Dollish; loving father of Robert W. (Rose) Dollish, Caren (Russell) Lang, Richard (Rae Ann) Dollish and Heather Motts Pipes; loving pap of Robert (Melody) Lang, Christopher Lang, Nicole (Brian) Lloyd, Jonathan and Jackie Dollish, Ashley and Austin Pipes and Haley Hartman; great-pap of Buckley Pipes, Camryn, Chloe and Elias Lang and Brayden and Rose Lloyd.

Bob was a proud 32° Mason and an active member of the 4 Point Social Club. He served his country honorably in the Navy. Bob dedicated his career to craftsmanship as a skilled carpenter with Local 230 of the Carpenters Union. Outside of work, Bob found his greatest joy on the water - an avid fisherman whose favorite place was on the lake surrounded by family. He also loved playing cards, enjoying the camaraderie and fun that came with every game.

A passionate Pittsburgh sports fan, Bob loved cheering for the Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins, whether from the stands or his living room. His true love, however, was baseball. Bob not only enjoyed the game, but gave back to the community by managing the North Baldwin Travel Baseball Team for many years, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with countless young athletes.

Bob's life was marked by devotion - to his family, his friends, and the things he loved most. His legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew him and in the lives he touched through his generosity and spirit.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15277 on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 1-8 p.m. Funeral prayer at the funeral home, on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Jefferson Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
