Obituary For Robert McClelland Vukas

Of Mt. Lebanon, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Bob was the loving and beloved husband of Agnese "Aggie" Pollice; brother of Rebecca Vukas of Chester, WV. Bob is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Bob was born in Newell, WV on November 18, 1949, the son of the late George and Evelyn (Grimm) Vukas.

A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Cornell University and a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, Bob practiced law for 48 years. He was a partner with the law firm of Frankovich and Anetakis for five years. He then joined Consol Energy where he was Senior Counsel and Head of Litigation and truly loved the practice of law with Consol.

Bob enjoyed life...he loved to travel, he loved Italy, he loved to read, he loved Pittsburgh sports and his WVU Mountaineers, he loved music, the theater, museums, good food, but most and foremost, Bob loved dogs.

There are no words to describe the void that Bob's death will leave in the life of his beloved Aggie.

Friends will be received for a memorial visitation at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until the closing prayer at 6:00 p.m. Bob's family strongly encourages memorials be made to the Humane Animal Rescue, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
