Obituary For Robert P. "Rip" Collins

Age 81, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2024, of Brentwood. Beloved husband of 60 years to Kathleen R. (Hickey); loving father of Cheri (Joe) Kramer, Shelly (Ken) Schenk and the late Suzi (survived by Steve) Milius; cherished Pappy of Katelyn (Chris), Brittany (Chelsea), Amanda (Travis) and Mackenzie Kramer, Steven, Kimberly (Christian), Shannon and Nicholas Milius and Ally, Nathan and Matthew Schenk; Pappy Great of Beckett, Vaeda, Callum, Steele, Hendrix, Collins, Declan and Scarlett; brother of Richard (Kathy) Collins and the late Lewis (survived by Rosie) Collins. Rip was a life member of the Brentwood Fire Department. He also belonged to the Masonic Lodge 684. He enjoyed camping at Pymatuning, as well as fishing, hunting, fixing cars and tinkering in the garage. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. If desired, the family suggests contributions to Drop the Puck on Cancer, 301 South Hills Village, Suite LL200, P.O.     My Prayers to the Collins Family. I was sad to Hear about Bobs Passing. I will miss him I always loved to hang out at the garage when i was growing up in the neighborhood.
