Age 84, on Monday, November 23, 2020, of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of 56 years to the late Janet Marie (Dietzen); loving and proud father of Dallas (Maureen) Nelson, Maria (Ray) Jones, Vernon (Dianalynn) Nelson and Robbie (Sandy) Nelson; brother of Dorothy (the late Bob) Stark and the late Charles "Bus" (Jan) Nelson, Paul (Gini) Nelson and Betty (Norman) Frey; proud grandfather of Raymond, Shawn, Rebecca, Sarah and Jonathon. He had the joy of having seven great-grandchildren. Always had a tender smile and loved bouncing them on his lap. He was known as Rocky to his friends at the Bechtel Plant which he had retired after 42 years of service. He had 25 years of retirement to walk, hunt and fish in Bedford County. He was referred to by his family as one of the last "Mountain Men". Bedford is where he found his peace and he shared his love for the outdoors with his four children and his son-in-law. In memory of Bob, please take time to enjoy the outdoors, walk or sit and listen to a rustling creek. He often sat at Evitts Creek, PA.
