Obituary For Robert S. Bishop

Age 92, on Saturday, September 2, 2023, of Penn Hills, born in West Mifflin.

Beloved husband of the late Jean (Cox) Bishop; loving father of Deborah Bishop, Pamela (George) Stoupis and Lynda (Tim) Nesiti; grandfather of George R. (Alexis) and Nicolette (Andrew); son of the late Stephen and Margaret (Makroczy) Puspoki; brother of the late Lillian Wampler. Robert graduated from Munhall High School and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was president of AARP Penn Hills Chapter, enjoyed bowling and fishing, and was an accomplished violinist. Robert also enjoyed his day trips he went on with his daughters and spending time with his grandchildren and his daughters' pets. Visitation and services were held privately. Arrangements were handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.

    Ed Baran

    To the family of Bob Bishop especially Linda and Pam Even though I knew Bob only a short time when he first arrived I felt a good and loving person. he was and immediately connected with both him and his lovely daughters. I wish I had the opportunity to get yo know him better but alas sometimes that is life. He is now at peace with his wife and together again but I no pain and happiness. He is in my daily prayers for his rememberance gone but not forgotten. I have been blessed by God to know him To Linda and Pam same for you and wish you all the best. Ed Baran
