Thompson, Robert W. "Shoes" Peacefully, on Sunday, August 12, 2018, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved husband of 63 years to Carole C. (Burke); loving father of Sandie (Eric) Alan; proud Pap of Sean Robert Alan; brother of Mary Margaret Farkas and the late Benjamin (survived by Trude) and Nancy and Emmett Thompson; also survived by nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Bob was an avid bowler, golfer, and poker player, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Friends will be received at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
