Joyce, My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time. I have many lovely memories of Cozy, and I cherish each and every one. He always mentioned how lucky he was to have met and married you. Bob also adored his sons and grandchildren. Wishing you and yours peace.

An outstanding and precious man has left this earth, while leaving his mark upon it. "Cozy" was one of my very dearest, closest, and special friends since high school. I always said that I wanted to clone him, as he was one of the finest men I knew. A truly good and upstanding man, who loved his wife, sons, and grandchildren with all his heart. One who had earned the respect from everyone. One to admire and to be honored to have him in their life. . . . .So, Cozy, now that you're in Heaven, after you've spent time with your parents, who have once again welcome you in their loving embrace, look for the first Cozy Cole, the jazz drummer who did "Topsy Part 2," and your elementary school teacher who gave to you your nickname of "Cozy" because of that Cozy and the popularity of that song. You are and will always be "our Cozy." . . . . . On behalf of Cozy's CHS '65 classmates who are unable to pay their respects in person, please accept our sincerest condolences and know that he forever will be remembered and loved by us.
