Age 72, unexpectedly, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of Lorraine (D'Amico) Smoot; loving father of Ryan Smoot; son of the late Roger and Stella Smoot; brother of Elsie (Joseph) Savage. Roger was a tremendous artist. He was retired from KDKA, where he worked as a graphic designer for 29 years. Roger loved also loved music, especially The Beatles, and was a drummer. There will be no public visitation.
